There will be only two resource math classes this year.
Students will not be double dipping math this year for the most part.
Students will be receive instruction based on their IEP goals and objectives. Students will also receive assistance in their core math classes. These students in regular classes will be placed in a resource class as a support and for homework help.

As part of their IEPs students will be tested bi-weekly with a progress monitor program , Aims Web. Students will be allowed to see how their progress is going.
Students will also be star tested three times a year for growth.(fall, winter and spring). Resource students are afforded readers for the math test. We have found that testing the students in small group was better results for students taking regular and resource math.
This year we will be trying to benchmark students at grade level in writing, reading and math,
Students and their parents will ask to review the times tables with students.
